To give your home’s façade a Hamptons feel, start by selecting soft coastal paint colours.
Think mid-tone grey, beige, greige, soft blue-grey or green-grey, paired with crisp whites on the fascia, windows, doors, fretwork and any other smaller features.
Something like Dulux Terrace White on your weatherboards and Dulux Lexicon® Half for your trims, would work beautifully here. For a soft blue try Dulux Pre-School or for a soft green try Dulux Eaves.

As we know, the Hamptons trend veers towards white and neutrals, which makes for a perfect easy-to-pair base as it’s so flexible.
Therefore, to make styling your home easier, paint your walls a light shade, unless you have whitewashed flooring; in which case, opt for a light blue paint or cool grey on your walls.

4. What do you suggest when painting the interior of a new Hamptons build in terms of colour schemes? Should every room be the same colour? Can you vary the colouring from room to room?
The Hamptons style home is all about creating spaces that are liveable, relaxing, simple and effective, so to achieve this, make sure your colour palette flows from inside to out.
This doesn’t mean every room has to be the same colour, they just need to sit comfortably together and create a flow through effect. Think soft neutrals, creamy tones, sea greens and blues, and apply them throughout.
