When you enter a home, it sets the mood and the tone for the rest of the house. You can convey your sense of style and your aesthetic right away with a well-designed entryway. Unfortunately, your entry may not get the design attention it deserves.
We have collated some of the most beautiful entrances we could find and suggested 4 elements to create a dreamy Hamptons inspired entrance.
1. ENTRANCE RUGS
Breathe new life into your entry with some key design elements. One way to do this is by adding a floor covering. An area rug or runner warms up the space and can add dimension and texture. If you’re worried about it being a highly trafficked area, choose a durable rug option, such as jute.

2. CONSOLE TABLES & CABINETS
You can also add a console table or a cabinet which can serve as storage but also a statement piece. Top it with a pair of table lamps so that you can warm up the entryway with ambient lamp lighting rather than relying only on overhead lighting.

3. SEATING
If your entryway is large enough you can add seating, such as a pair of armchairs, or a bench works nicely as well.

4. MIRRORS, ARTWORK & FLOWERS
Bring life to your entryway with greenery or a floral arrangement and add a nice piece of art or mirror to bring the eye upward.
